What American accent do you have?
Your Result: The Inland North

You may think you speak "Standard English straight out of the dictionary" but when you step away from the Great Lakes you get asked annoying questions like "Are you from Wisconsin?" or "Are you from Chicago?" Chances are you call carbonated drinks "pop."

The Midland
The Northeast
Philadelphia
The South
The West
Boston
North Central

(Click here to post your own answers for this meme.)

I miss somebody right now. × I don't watch much TV these days. I own lots of books.
I wear glasses or contact lenses. × I love to play video games. I've tried marijuana.
I've watched porn movies.  (with boys!) × I have been the psycho-ex in a past relationship. I believe honesty is usually the best policy.
I curse sometimes.  (more like all the time) I have changed a lot mentally over the last year. × I carry my knife/razor everywhere with me.
it goes on... )

ps. work was great today.

Tomorrow is another day, but for today, that rainbow was exactly what I needed.
It means hope. It means new. It means letting things rest.

The fact that you don't want to see me or talk to me says something. You realize this, right? Just checking.

I can't go tomorrow night to my favorite place. And that sucks.

I can't believe it's been 4 years.

Four fucking years.

It doesn't get any easier. I guess it will always be hard. And I still miss you both.

Rest in Peace, our boys.

I'm pretty sure that my best friend is amazingly awesome.

I had a blast this weekend. Not sleeping and dyeing hair is always fun. Pass the Pigs is an awesome game...Racko comes in a close second. I bet those would be a lot more fun if we were drunk while we were playing them.

Next weekend? Hells yes.

Mike: What happened to your hands?
Me: I shot a man in Reno. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Amber: Did we kill something and it go bad?

....yeah. the emotional baggage. heh.

For you, my love:

I love you!

I doubt that I've ever been as tired as I was this afternoon when I finally rolled out of bed.

Some days, it's really hard. Some days, I want nothing more than to say what's really on my mind.

.....

I don't think today is a day that I can do anything right.

If you would get to know me,
maybe you would love me.
I'm so ordinary.

Andrew called me today. I forget how much I miss him until I see him name on my missed call list. And then I get a little weepy inside.

He's been with me through pretty much everything. He's seen me at my best and at my worst, and he still loves me. He doesn't judge. He's doesn't criticize. He just accepts. As is. Without preconceived notions.

He's an amazing human being. I don't know anybody who approaches life like he does. I don't know anybody with as big of a heart as he has. I don't know anybody who is destined for the kind of success he's working on having.

I love that kid with all of myself and then some. With everything I have to give, I care for and about him.

Our friendship is a bottomless pit. Because not even time and distance can keep us apart. It doesn't matter how long it's been, we always pick up where we left off. We've been doing that since we were kids.

He's the only one that's been through it all, seen it all, and is still around.

I love you, Andrew. You are my brother.

I just got done watching North Country, and my yankee has come back in full force. Apparently, I don't even have to be AROUND the accent to pick it back up. All I have to do is watch a movie for 2 hours (full of actors not from the North Country, I might add, but who did a fantastic job at sounding like they'd lived in Minnesota their whole lives).

I also watched Domino today. Fantastic. Amazing. Visually stunning.

I'm done fighting for you. I'm done fighting for us. Why would I want to fight for something with someone who would never fight for me? Why would I want to fight for someone who doesn't care enough to put up a fight?

Work
So there's this guy that comes in to the store like everyday. Heather (the coolest chick I work with) and I are taking bets as to whether or not he has a girlfriend. She says that he does because he's rented a couple chick flicks in the past month. Bah.

Heather is awesome. I enjoy her a lot.

I saw Glenn today. I miss that kid a lot.

How about this for life kicking you in the ass: So I come home from work tonight and I haven't really eaten anything today. I'm thinking grilled cheese sandwich. But when I go to get the bread, I notice that about 2 pieces back from where I pulled my 2 slices, there's all kinds of mold and ew-ness. I didn't get my grilled cheese sandwich. And I am sad.

I miss you.
I miss spending time with you.
It hasn't even been a week, and already I'm starting to go into withdrawl.
Love you.

Amazing job, Purple Side.
Script: Witty and fun and so creative. Congrats, Lyn Roberts.
Cast: Fucking fabulous. You guys did the damn thing.

BRENT: I fucking love you!!! Thank you for calling me Saturday night.

PV, Purple Side. I'm so proud.

I wish my Saturday night could have been as good as it was for all of you.

I'm pretty sure that this woman is the funniest woman alive. She's the female version of Carlos Mencia in the way that she insults EVERYBODY. It's the funniest shit I've ever seen.

I accidentally flipped through CMT today, and got stopped by the most gorgeous man I've seen in a while on TV. His name is Josh Turner, and his song is called "Your Man." Guys should learn to play this song for their girlfriends, because I watched the whole video and I don't even like country music. Learn it, and make your girl melt with lyrics like:
"I can't believe how much it turns me on
Just to be your man"

I've been watching a lot of VH1 early in the morning (when they actually play videos, unlike MTV who is currently running a Date My Mom marathon). My new crush is KT Tunstall. She's amazing. Her song "Black Horse and the Cherry Tree" has been playing in rotation for a while, and I think I might have fallen in love with this girl. I think I have this song on a Paste sampler somewhere. I need to find it.

Artists I need to invest in like yesterday:
KT Tunstall
Aqualung
the new Eminem cd
Anna Nalick

My dad wonders why I "waste so much money going to Montevallo for...I dunno what."
Because, dad, that's where my friends are! I don't have any friends here.

Yesterday was such a bad day.
Today was better.

I'm pretty sure of a few things:

(1) Waiting is the new Office Space.
(2) Movie Gallery is the greatest thing that has happened to my love life in...um...probably ever......and that is very very sad.
(3) My cat is awesome.
(4) Kelly Clarkson is amazing.
(5) [info]21406 is the greatest thing to happen since sliced bread.

Have a good day, everybody.
